Since then, we have worked to advance the status of women through service projects and through advocacy. One of our current major projects addresses the issue of domestic violence by supporting the Prince George’s County Family Crisis Center and by supporting legislation and policies that impact victims.
Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. The Young Women in Public Affairs Award is one of many programs for women and girls sponsored by Zonta International.
