The Zonta Club of Prince George’s
County Foundation, Inc. was formed in December 2012 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization. Zonta Club of Prince
George’s County Area is a 501(c)(4) non-profit service organization which was
chartered in 1984 as a local club of Zonta International. Both organizations
are committed to advancing the economic and educational status of women in the
Prince George’s County Area and around the world. Zonta was founded in 1919 and evolved into a
global service organization to advance the status of women worldwide. Zonta International’s member history includes
amazing women like Amelia Earhart and comprises more than 31,000 members in 64
countries and geographic areas. Zonta
International’s more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs work to eradicate violence against
women worldwide through programs such as Zonta International Strategies to End
Violence against Women (ZISVAW).

A wine taste fund raiser will be held at the Prince Georges African American Museum and Culteral Center on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6-9 pm. All proceeds go towards the Prince Georges County Family Crisis and Family Justice Center programs to eradicate domestic violence in our community.
