Zonta Club of Prince George's County - Our Mission

The mission of the Zonta Club of the Prince Georges County Area
is to improve the status of women and the security of children
through club fellowship, networking, community service and international collaboration.


Our Objectives

To encourage high ethical standards in business and professions

To improve the legal, political, economic and professional status of women

To promote and supervise the organization of Zonta clubs throughout the world

To increase the service and value of Zonta clubs to their respective members and communities

To foster the spirit of good fellowship among Zontians and Zonta clubs

To work for the advancement of understanding, good will and peace through a world fellowship of executive women in business and professions, united in the Zonta ideal of service

Zonta Prince George's Area Club President, Carol Boyer joins Linda Andrews and speaker Selma Hadzihalilovic for a presentation on Bosnia Herzegovina Anti-Trafficking at the World Learning Organization in Washington, DC.,
April 21, 2006.
The BATCOM project supports education of public officials in designing enforceable laws and policies to stop trafficking, respond compassionately to victims, and punish offenders - and local prevention through vigorous community education directed at young people, families and schools.
